Here is what you will be doing:
The Lead, Integrated Health Systems is responsible for supporting the Manager, Integrated Health Systems in delivering one or more project/ program/ operational plans and supporting provincial program implementation within a specific portfolio or functional area. As part of this role, the Lead acts as a subject matter expert and may take on more complex work in developing plans and deliverables, identification of initiatives, undertaking and providing research, deploying resources, and collaborating with key internal and external partners. The Lead may act on the Manager's behalf in their absence and may be responsible for day-to-day work allocation but is not accountable for the work of the team members.
Here is what you will need to be successful:
Project/Program/Operations execution and delivery
Stakeholder relationship management
Oversees the day-to-day operations of the project/program and triage escalations where applicable
Works with the Manager to define objectives and standards, prioritize key activities, assign accountabilities and develop deliverables
Determines and develops the required frameworks, methodologies, processes and tools to execute on an assigned project
Provides program design and development expertise with a focus on clinical and business transformation (that may include technology enablement).
Drafts required reports and deliverables for approval by the Manager
Identifies improvement opportunities and escalates key issues/risks to the Manager; proposes and executes solutions to address challenges or mitigate risks
Review business requirements/specifications to provide consultation and advice as SME to internal and external groups
Supports any projects or initiatives assigned by the Manager and acts as back up as required
Leads consultations in the absence of the Manager
Education and Experience
Completion of a master's degree in health care discipline, major in business administration, health administration, health informatics, information technology, or bachelor's degree with recognized equivalent experience such as PMP, LEAN Green Belt in Health Care Training, Change Management Education, Experience and/or certification and experience in group facilitation
4-6 years of experience leading projects/programs is required
Certified Professional Project Manager preferred
Good standing with a recognized regulated health professional college an asset
Knowledge and Skills
Proven experience in the delivery and execution of projects/programs
Deep Ontario Health System knowledge, including Home Care.
Knowledge of clinical best practice is an asset
Experience in engaging key stakeholders and leading/facilitating business discussions
Experience in coordinating and facilitating medium to large scale events an asset
Goal-oriented

Collaborative relationship builder
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and tight deadlines
Technological efficiency: Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Project, Outlook, Teams, Share point
