What is the opportunity?

National accountability for the management and implementation of business-driven initiatives for which they are responsible; ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and meet the requirements of the project's goals. Working with all levels of the business, other RBC business units and functional/shared services groups. Central point of contact for procedural development and maintenance.

What will you do?

  • Works with the Senior Manager, Business Initiatives to ensure that the technological infrastructure supports strategic direction and that the various business and technological solutions integrate in a seamless manner.
  • Maintain/develop procedural documentation for RT nationally.
  • National accountability for the management and implementation of business-driven initiatives for which they are responsible; ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and meet the requirements of the project's goals.
  • Support the development of new or enhanced technology & digital solutions, that do not fall within the Wealth Management strategic initiative mandate, products, and tools to add value to clients, shareholders, and employees.
  • Support the ongoing maintenance and further development and enhancements of the business's internal and external websites.
  • Developing and maintaining business management reports as well as providing business analytics supporting both regional teams as well as national strategic initiatives undertaken by the business.
  • Works with various teams to define and communicate detailed business requirements for capabilities & solution design, selection, and deployment.
  • Supports the distribution teams with the identification and implementation of initiatives to maximize distribution effectiveness and leverage shared services infrastructure.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • 4-7 years of business, finance, marketing, or related experience, preferably in Financial Services
  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent), preferably in finance, accounting, business or related field
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to maintain relationships at various level within the organization.
  • High degree of PC literacy and fully proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Viso) or other project management tools (ie: Asana)
  • Experience drafting/maintaining procedures
  • Knowledge of systems and applications used within Wealth Management Canada

Nice-to-have

  • Project Management Profession (PMP) Certification
  • Proven experience managing people would be an asset.
  • General knowledge of estate and trust services, custody solutions, investments, financial planning counselling and taxation issues
  • Intermediate to advanced analytical skills leveraging tools such as Microsoft Access, Power BI, SQL & Tableau
