As the Manager, Client Acquisition, you will be a key member of the Retail Customer Growth team, playing a critical role in driving the growth of retail products in the Canadian market. You will be responsible for leading strategies, planning and execution of key multi-channel initiatives to drive acquisition and growth of primary clients, supporting Deposits, Investments and other retail banking products.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Lead the ideation, design and execution of multi-channel programs across the client lifecycle to drive acquisition of retail banking products and growth of primary clients

  • Leverage data and insights to conceptualize and propose marketing programs that drive the highest results

  • Be accountable for setting and attaining targets associated with programs and initiatives, effectively managing and prioritizing amongst multiple simultaneous projects

  • Work alongside data and analytics partners to report on program performance, sharing important insights and recommendations with key stakeholders

  • Lead cross-functional team meetings, brainstorming sessions and deliver presentations to executives

  • Manage key relationships with internal partners and external vendors

  • Lead and drives a culture throughout the team that keeps the client at the center of all initiatives

  • Create an environment in which your team pursues effective and efficient operations in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:

  • Post-secondary education with a focus in business or marketing

  • Multiples years of experience in creating strategies, developing and executing on large-scale programs and marketing campaigns

  • Experience working in the Banking industry and understanding of Retail Product financials and P&L levers

  • Strategic thinking skills and a results-oriented mindset

  • Demonstrated success in partnering with and indirectly leading cross-functional teams and managing a wide range of stakeholder relationships

  • The ability to lead effective brainstorming sessions to generate opportunities and synthesize ideas into concise and actionable recommendations

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw meaningful insights and recommendations from complex data

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas to a variety of audiences

  • Comfortability working in a hybrid work environment
