The Distribution Centre Manager will be accountable for leading the mailroom team and will work closely with the Service Delivery department to ensure the successful distribution of all correspondence. In addition to leading the Distribution team, you will be responsible to scan and index incoming documents, sort, and distribute incoming mail, email, and faxes, handle outgoing couriers and mail, track incoming correspondence, and provide various clerical functions.

\n What you will do\n

  • \nLead the team to ensure that each piece of correspondence is handled accurately and efficiently. through effective leadership and coaching;
  • \n
  • \nHandle outgoing correspondence and shipments;
  • \n
  • \nManage all scanning and indexing for various teams;
  • \n
  • \nTrack Registered Mail;
  • \n
  • \nAssist various departments with record retention tracking;
  • \n
  • \nVerify and monitor incoming correspondence to comply with Payment Card Industry (PCI) requirements;
  • \n
  • \nSupport the organization, the team and the leaders, by answering questions and assisting team members with inquiries and other related matters;
  • \n
  • \nMaintain up to date knowledge of company’s products and services and mailroom reporting.

  • \nThe education. Post-secondary diploma/degree or a combination of equivalent work experience within a Distribution/Mailroom environment;
  • \n
  • \nThe experience. A minimum of 2 years’ experience leading a team. Work with a sense of urgency. Strong detail orientation, you are able to work thoroughly, accurately, and error-free. Ability to proactively follow up on identified issues and work toward resolution. Embrace a high-performance culture and you are customer focused;
  • \n
  • \nThe skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, in a fast-paced environment. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Excellent formal written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills, combined with a good business sense;
  • \n
  • \nThe drive. Ability to remain calm and objective under stress or when managing conflict. Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and process change, and implement plans to address those changes. Exhibit enthusiasm and promotes team environment. Self-starter who takes initiative. Strong learner who supports continuous learning. Confident, mature, and able to work under pressure in a changing, dynamic environment.
