Who we're looking for:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of Finance for our Business Case & Capex team at Rogers Bank. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Manager of Finance to prepare and review business cases and manage the capital expenditure (Capex) processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with various departments to ensure the projects and initiatives drives the company's strategic and financial goals and priorities.
What you'll do:
Prepare and review business cases for new projects and initiatives.
Manage the Capex approval process, including the preparation of Capital Approval (CA) documents and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate with Business Units (BUs) to gather inputs and ensure accurate and comprehensive business case documentation.
Ensure compliance with the company's Capex policy and financial governance requirements.
Monitor and report on Capex spending, providing insights and recommendations for cost optimization.
Work closely with the CFO and other leaders to secure approvals for business cases and Capex requests.
Provide financial analysis and support for strategic decision-making related to capital investments.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all business cases and Capex approvals.
What you bring:
Financial and accounting experience in financial services and/or technology-based industry is preferred.
Accounting Qualification (or in progress)
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
