What will your typical day look like?

  • Lead fraud and financial crime engagements to provide business insights from the analysis of the client's challenges, consideration of the business environment and the potential risk exposure
  • Liaise with client executives and senior team members providing superior client service along with fraud and industry expertise
  • Act as the day-to-day project manager for client engagements and internal initiatives, leading project delivery, thought leadership and proposal development
  • Act as the financial crime SME for both internal Deloitte teams as well as external clients and prospects
  • Coaching and mentoring junior resources and providing functional expertise and guidance

Deloitte helps our clients to protect their brand and reputation by proactively advising on their exposure to fraud and other financial crime issues. Drawing on our global network of seasoned financial crime experts, intelligence analysts, technologists, and advanced analytics, we can quickly and efficiently gain an understanding of our clients' various fraud risk exposures. We provide expert advice and solutions to address our clients Fraud Risk Management needs across the organization from strategy to implementation.


As a Manager in the Deloitte Financial Crime Practice, you will be leading the creation of business insights and solutions related to the fraud management for clients.

You are someone with:

  • 5 or more years of relevant fraud management and client service experience; previous working experience in consulting or financial service sector is preferred
  • Completed a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in the preferred concentration in the quantitative or business discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Accounting or other similar disciplines.
  • Demonstrated managerial experience, including project problem diagnosis, solution development, client relationship management, facilitation of decision making, documentation, managing client expectations, and team leadership
  • Proven consulting skills, advisory services, and problem-solving abilities
  • Professional and risk designation is preferred (e.g., CPA, CFA, FRM)
  • Relevant work experience includes:
    • Design fraud program governance and support transformation strategy
    • Support vendor selection process for fraud/payment solution providers
    • Implement fraud/payment solutions
    • Experience with systems/tool integration, functional and non-functional application design, QA, data management, security, testing, and general IT proficiency
    • Develop fraud analytics, reports, and dashboards
  • Key consulting skills, including the ability to:
    • Establish trusting relationships with client, colleagues, and leadership
    • Analyze and solve problems, creatively and logically
    • Communicate effectively, verbally and written
    • Take initiative and self-manage time and workload
    • Develop high-quality content for internal initiatives and client deliverables using Microsoft Office suite applications (i.e., PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio)
    • Manage the end-to-end project delivery, from planning and tracking to providing regular status reporting to client and leadership
    • Provide guidance and mentor junior team members, as required
    • Has subject matter expertise on Fraud Management (preferred)
  • Canadian travel may be required, with the potential for occasional international travel.

The salary range for this position is $104,000 - $173,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
