The Manager, Global 2nd Line Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) contributes to the overall success of the Global Third-Party Risk Management Program ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives. The incumbent is accountable for ensuring all activities conducted are compliant with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures through the execution of independent second-line effective challenge and third party

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Champions a customer focused culture to support and assist Global contract owners and key stakeholders in the successful execution of the Global TPRM Program.
  • Assists in the development and maintenance of applicable 2nd Line operational procedures that support the implementation of TPRM policy and standards including, but limited to: Risk Exempt on Demand Reviews, Quality Control Reviews, Exit Strategy Reviews, Exception administration, Incidents, Issues, TPM Athena Chat Bot, Standard Operating Procedures, oversight activities and New Initiative Risk Assessment (NIRA) Reviews.
  • Performs remediation and operational projects to continuously improve the accuracy and completeness of the TPRM book of record.
  • Assists in the coordination, development, and delivery of communications, change management and training relative to TPRM policies and processes to ensure effective challenge implementation.
  • Have a continuous improvement mindset, be curious and seek to learn and understand. Identify challenges, pain points, and raise them for resolution with urgency and follow through.
  • Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have experience with:

  • 3-5 years' relevant experience in risk management and third party risk management.
  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in risk management and/or business-related subject.
  • Strategic thinking and strategic influencing skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills, ability to effectively manage difficult conversations and complaints.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills; ability to effectively communicate with senior/executive management.
  • Sound judgment, learning agility, and a high level of professional and personal integrity
