Purpose:

Manages GWO Global Securitizations; Ensuring daily operations, business strategies, projects and initiatives are delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

Ensure that Global Banking and Markets, Group Treasury strategies and priorities assigned to GWO have appropriate processes, controls, and infrastructure in place to support it. This includes, Asset backed securities (Credit Cards, Auto Loans, Line of Credit), Mortgage-backed securities and Debt Securities (Covered Bonds).

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Manages all operational activities for the GWO Securitizations team.
  • Manages conflicting priorities and sets appropriate direction to ensure the team meets requirements of daily operational deadlines and projects & initiatives.
  • Properly delegate tasks to establish workload balance and maintain team's productivity and efficiency.
  • Identifies and manages operational risk. Any identified risk is analyzed, escalated, and mitigated by implementing key controls at acceptable levels.
  • Leads and participates in all stages of all relevant technology and regulatory projects/initiatives which impact GWO Securitizations team.
  • Builds a high-performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment.
  • Plan operational coverage through vacation periods and periods of short-staffing and statutory holidays.
  • Conducts on-going coaching conversations with direct reports and tracks performance throughout the fiscal year.
  • Manages succession and development planning for the GWO Securitizations team.
  • Collaborate with peers to identify best practices and controls that can be implemented within the team to achieve success.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have:

  • Experience managing securitization operations and processes
  • Expertise in asset-backed, mortgage-backed, and debt securities
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, policies, and controls
  • Prior experience leading and managing a team - coaching, performance management, and succession planning
  • Experience leading technology/regulatory change initiatives
  • Project management skills to drive cross-functional projects

Work Arrangement: This position is currently a Hybrid role. Please note that this is subject to change based on the needs of the business.
