What is the opportunity?

In this role, you will be a key member of the team that will deliver client risk eligible rule execution for proactive campaigns currently managed by the Portfolio Management and Credit Strategies team. This is a highly technical role requiring hands-on experience with data and decisioning tools to provide support to the credit strategy partners to execute direct marketing campaigns and initiatives. This role will continuously challenge and seek to improve the efficiency and accuracy of risk eligible rules and strategy implementation design and processes utilizing new technologies and data sources.

What will you do?

  • Design, build, and test strategy changes in various platforms to ensure flawless implementation
  • Complete quality assurance audits to ensure the design & build has been accurately interpreted to meets the business need
  • Strong in data analysis and data sciences
  • Develops clearly written documentation for strategy changes that are tailored to different audiences including business groups, QA, IT and senior management
  • Seeks opportunities to utilize RBC data sources to develop automation of execution and testing activities. Identifies and implements new methods or processes to shorten the execution cycle or to reduce costs
  • Ensure that strategy implementation standard methodology and best practices are implemented in day to day routines

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • 3+ years expertise in relational database marketing and structured programming concepts, including the use of data analytics and decisioning tools (e.g., SAS, SQL, Python, SPARK)
  • 3+ years' experience in application of experimental design
  • Strong data analytical skillsets and mind-set
  • Strong project management, time management and implementation skills
  • Strong problem resolution and decision-making skills
  • Strong written/oral communication skills to develop and convey thoughtful and insightful explanations

Nice to have:

  • Strong problem resolution and decision-making skills

  • Strong experience in the financial services industry, including understanding of marketing is an asset
  • Experience using SPARK, TRIAD and BLAZE coding
