What is the opportunity?

As a Manager with Wealth Management (WM) Performance Management, you will assist the team in providing insightful financial analytics, act as the lead liaison throughout the annual Enterprise Wide Stress Testing (EWST) exercise, and support the Financial Outlook Management (FOM) estimate submission project. Reporting to the Director Wealth Management (WM) Finance, this position provides advisory & analytics capacity for the WM business and produce relevant reports/insights used by Senior Management.

What you will do?

  • Act as WM's primary liaison in the annual Enterprise Wide Stress Testing (EWST) exercise by ensuring timelines & deliverables are met with various stakeholders
  • Run scenario testing for OSFI, CCAR (US Fed) and other internal stress scenarios and communicate analysis and key drivers
  • Maintain integrated EWST model, including documentation and support audit by Model Risk Management (MRM)
  • Working with the senior manager, assist drivers-based analytics efforts across the WM Platform with a focus on key metrics related to the WM industry, including revenue, expenses, client assets, balance sheet, and Fund Transfer Pricing (FTP)
  • Drive operational efficiencies and optimize processes to enhance WM Performance Management effectiveness
  • Own/support ad hoc projects/initiatives

What you need to succeed?

Must Have

  • Degree in Finance/Accounting/Business or a quantitative discipline; prior work experience in wealth management or the broader financial services industry
  • Financial modelling skills and relational database application
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-motivated and independent worker with a solutions-driven mind-set
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of or experience in the wealth management/asset management industry
  • Experience with automating and streamlining reporting processes
  • Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools
