What is the opportunity?

This role is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven marketing professional who is passionate about developing creative and impactful ways to drive Personal Savings and Investments (PSI) acquisition and retention through direct-to-client targeted campaigns.


Working closely with the Sr. Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and deploying effective targeted marketing campaigns to support Mutual Fund Distribution (MFD - inclusive of products such as RESP, RESP, TFSA, etc) business growth and engagement objectives via all owned channels (emails, banners, mobile nudges, etc.). You will also be responsible for ongoing campaign performance reporting that captures key learnings, ongoing optimization opportunities and future recommendations for team. Additionally, you will lead the development and execution of marketing and sales collateral to support the PSI team.

What will you do?

  • Lead the development and execution of targeted MFD marketing campaigns to deliver on the overall strategy with special attention to data insights and persona message testing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams acting as a marketing point person to ensure flawless execution of campaigns; impact and influence key business team stakeholders
  • Lead collateral development across all PSI including developing powerful creative briefs aligning with clear business objectives
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with internal and external partners to ensure all creative materials deliver on the brief to achieve desired outcomes
  • Review performance metrics with agency partners and analytics teams, understanding impact to business results and make recommendations to optimize campaign tactics for optimal efficiency.
  • Manage marketing budget and optimize marketing spend

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in marketing, with a solid understanding of targeted and digital channels
  • Ability to map our test and learn message strategies to optimizing targeted marketing campaigns
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to lead multi-stakeholder groups to develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns
  • Proven project management and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task, as well as confidently and effectively lead a project team through timelines, prioritization, budget management and collaboration
  • Knowledgeable about marketing functions (e.g. digital marketing, targeted, social media, collateral) and the role each plays in a successful marketing organization
  • Positive upbeat professional and responsible attitude independent and self-directed with a strong ability to work collaboratively with peers and sr. leadership and executive teams

  • Agency experience is an asset

  • Ability to initiate and drive change
