What is the role?
We are seeking a talented and motivated candidate to join our Software Development team as a Process Automation Software Developer. We are an agile team that develops automation solutions to enable RBC operations to scale and improve customer satisfaction. This role presents an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to contribute to large-scale projects with real and immediate business impact.
As a Process Automation Software developer, you will collaborate closely with our experienced team to design, develop, implement and maintain software solutions that streamline and automate key business processes.
What will you do?
- Design, develop and implement software applications and features.
- Be a technology advocate, share your expertise through RBC's wide developer network.
- Be a key partner to the business and the team throughout the delivery cycle.
- Work with business partners to define software requirements.
- Think and work through challenging problems, finding solutions collaboratively.

What Do You Need to Succeed?
Must Have
- Knowledge of the following technologies:
- Java, C#, .NET
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML
- GitHub, DevOps
- MS SQL
- Pega Robotics
- SOAP/REST APIs
- Passion for Software Development
- Experience with DevOps cycle
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail oriented approach to problem-solving
- Excellent ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical partners
- A high level of motivation, strong work ethic and self-starting attitude
- A quick learner with a positive mindset, collaborative nature and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of the following technologies:
- Camunda
- Spring-Boot, Junit
- Java
- Knowledge of BPMN
- PCF
- Helios, Jenkins, UCD, OpenShift Containerization Platform (OCP)
- Node.js, Angular, ReactJS
- Ansible, Vault, Dynatrace, PagerDuty
- Experience working in Agile teams with multiple stakeholders
- Experience with process automation and operations technology, especially in large organizations
- Knowledge about operations, BPMN and process reengineering
