WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

QE Automation Testing Lead role is responsible for providing technical vision, leadership for applications/projects for functional testing and increasing test automation footprint. The role will coordinate, develop, lead, communicate and execute activities to ensure objectives are accomplished according on time. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing test plans for ecosystem/program/large projects.

  • Developing reusable test automation scripts.

  • Integrate test automation with Dev Ops pipeline, including application of CI/CD principles.

  • Ensuring scalable automation test scripts are up to date and well documented.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Manage the implementation of multiple concurrent initiatives of varying complexity in a time efficient manner. Monitor and control activities according to plan.

  • Continuously identify potential issues, conflicts, and risks. Analyze, mitigate and escalate where appropriate.

  • Responsible for maximizing automation testing for all project deliverables .

  • Responsible for setting up automated suites on DevOps pipeline (HELIOS/JENKINS).

  • Develop and execute automated test, generate automated reports from qTest and JIRA.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in leading, developing and implementing functional test strategies with change management experience in complex programs with high frequency of requests and multiple priorities.

  • Experience in Python programming with SQL to automate applications and setting up integration with CI/CD pipeline, Github, Jenkins, Teradata and qTest.

  • Experience in API Testing via RESTFUL API with understanding on response code management

  • 1-2 years of experience working with qtest and JIRA. This include publishing automated reports by using API's available for qtest and JIRA.

  • Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills. Ability to determine the information and communication needs of the stakeholders and project.

Nice-to-have:

  • Deep understanding Data Lake and Data Warehouse concepts. Working knowledge with snowflake is a plus.

  • Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses.

  • Experience with use of VB Macro

  • Knowledge of Openshift container platform, Docker, AWS and Rundeck
