What is the opportunity?

The Senior Director, Corporate Security Management is responsible for executing on the vision and strategic direction and is accountable to support the strategy development and operations of the physical security and protection program globally.

You will maintain in-depth awareness and understanding of current and emerging trends in Physical Security to inform strategy and ensure Physical Security Protection Strategy remains aligned to Future of Work requirements and the changes to employee working environments.

What will you do?

  • Lead the execution of a complex, global enterprise-wide security programs utilizing a deep specialized knowledge of security practices as the subject matter expert.
  • Develop the Security programs (Security/Safety Incident Management & Response, Physical Security Technology and Risk, Physical Security Operations Centre and Third Party) and enhances operational processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure security procedures/process are reviewed, current and sustainable.
  • Establish security awareness and training to promote and embed appropriate physical security behavior across the organization and to its clients.
  • Monitor metrics to ensure program effectiveness, compliance against standards and deliver reporting to provide ongoing assurance to senior and executive management.
  • Lead a team of professionals who continuously monitor for physical security threats and take action to identify, detect and protect our employees and our environment.
  • Oversee all activities related to a Physical Security Breach ensuring proper handling of evidence.
  • Provide leadership and direction and establishes a culture and work environment that attracts, retains and motivates a diverse, skilled workforce creating a working environment of high employee engagement

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

  • 15+ years' experience working in large organizations in physical or cyber security.
  • Strong knowledge of strategy, management and analytics; enterprise applications, data / information management and information delivery applications.
  • Strong knowledge in Building/Facility infrastructure (Access Systems, Safety Rooms, Safety Systems et.) and IOT systems.
  • Demonstrated abilities in rapid threat assessments, situation/threat reporting and managing complex IT/Data platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience in control design, development, deployment and operation.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to convey technical and risk information, make actionable recommendations to senior leadership and drive alignment and decision making across diverse groups.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, capable of managing financials and working with budgets and a planning/forecasting cycle of reporting.
  • Should have experience in leading and delivering complex and large request for proposals/procurement processes in the physical security technology and security guarding space.
  • Extensive experience in leading the corporate security response to serious incidents and crisis management
