As the Senior Director, External Reporting, you will be a strategic leader in enterprise finance providing valued financial governance and advice, and empowering and enabling the vision of the future of the CFO Group using innovation to drive efficiencies and provide enriched insights. You will lead the External Reporting team in telling the story of RBC's financial results to the public through the quarterly Report to Shareholders, Annual Report and other external disclosures. You will be responsible for ensuring that financial results are effectively and consistently communicated to the general public and investment community, and that external disclosures comply with key stakeholder requirements.
As part of the Chief Accountant's Group, you will be part of a collaborative team culture that strives to challenge ourselves to be our best, think progressively to keep growing, and work together to deliver collective results.
You would be a great match for this role if you have disclosure expertise (e.g. preparation of Annual Reports and Management's Discussion and Analysis (MD&A)) including familiarity with securities law disclosure requirements, a strong ownership posture, experience leading teams in a complex and dynamic environment, and a passion for driving process improvements.
