The Microsoft Commercial and Partner Solutions (MCAPS) Finance organization works across all Microsoft products & services and influences sales teams world-wide. We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager, Customer Success who can proactively partner with both finance and business leaders to drive global impact with the goal of optimizing resources, maximizing revenue, margin, and market share. As a Senior Finance Manager, Customer Success you will partner with our business to look at the impact that Customer Success creates in our Modern Work consumption and usage businesses, develop analytics and provide recommendations on how to accelerate our Customer’s Journey in Copilot and M365 workloads.

This role will partner closely with the Customer Success Modern Work and Security VPs, Field Leaders and other MCAPS Finance teams to design our consumption strategy and move forward on our Consumption Value aspirations.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
    • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
    • OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of financial analysis and planning experience and/or business analysis experience
  • 5+ years of experience with all Microsoft Office Apps particularly in Excel, PowerBI
  • 5+ years of experience in managing complex and dynamic financial modelling with multiple tiers of input and output, and manipulating larget data sets
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration

Financial Analysis IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $121,800 - CAD $219,100 per year.

Responsibilities

Prioritize

  • Develop and connect analytics that assess our Usage and Consumption businesses for Copilot, Teams and M365 Modern Work Consumption and Usage, providing recommendations on how to refine our strategy
  • Lead financial rhythms, provide insights of the performance of our Customer Success business in context of Modern Work, with focus on Usage excellence and Customer Success for Azure Close Rates and Azure Opportunity Creation
  • Assess progress and success of our Connected Customer Experiences, tracking key indicators of progress in our Customer’s Journey
  • Partner with Customer Success & Consulting (CS&C) Finance Managers and Modern Work and Security and Solution Area Finance Managers in the Field across the Operating Unit (OU29) to identify best Consumption practices and scale them across the globe
  • Track delivery insights of our Modern Work & Security (MW&S) Customer Solution Areas, developing analytics and providing recommendations to shape up the Customer Sucess Delivery Strategy to maximize Unified Yield

Partnership

  • Partner with Customer Success Leaders to identify levers that create positive impact in Cloud Consumption and Usage across Modern Work workloads
  • Identify best Customer Success practices and activities from other Solution Areas to recommend best practicies for MW&S businesses
  • Develop framework to measure Return of Investment of key projects and initiatives and impact it produces in our Modern Work and Security businesses
