What is the opportunity?

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior IAM Systems Engineer to join our Global Directory Services development team within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) domain. This role is ideal for a seasoned Identity Management professional with a strong background in designing and architecting directory services applications, coupled with leadership qualities to support a high-performing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about authentication, security, has experience building large scale enterprise software deployments, and has direct experience in authentication, identity, security, and in building complex rule-based systems for authorization.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead the full lifecycle of development and implementation within Authentication services and associated IAM policies and processes from initial internal hand-off from Business Analysts and Project teams to installation, system configuration, development and testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement ServiceNow workflows that align with business needs.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Participates in architecture and design discussions around solutions and enhancements.
  • Identifies opportunities for efficiencies by leveraging automation and other techniques.
  • Establish strong working relationships across business units and platforms to build influence and impact with key business partners. Collaborate with groups to define and achieve deliverables and ensure initiatives are effectively integrated into RBC procedures and processes.
  • Provide guidance for the implementation from a technical perspective on issues such as: performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and team resources to ensure successful project completion.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering and/or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of strong technical developer experience LDAP Protocol, IIS .NET, Python, PowerShell, JavaScript and Java.
  • Extensive understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts and best practices.
  • Knowledge of Radiant Logic FID Directory platform.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to mentor, and develop a team of Identity Management professionals.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges, propose solutions, and drive projects forward. Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Haves:

  • A strong understanding of financial services or other highly regulated environments
  • Strategic mindset with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in IBM Security Directory Integrator framework, and architecture.
