We are currently seeking a Senior Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) Systems Consultant with an electrical engineering, computer engineering, systems and/or technology background to work as part of a multidisciplinary team engaged in the design and delivery of ICT, security, and low-voltage systems and infrastructure for a range of both local and international buildings and infrastructure projects. Key market sectors include rail, aviation, healthcare and data centres.

The opportunity

  • Design of systems including structured cabling, wired and wireless networks, security systems, audiovisual, controls and general applications of technology to the built environment.
  • Delivery of Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Security (RAMS) across large scale projects
  • Data Centre planning and design
  • Supporting leadership in responding to Request for Proposals (RFPs)
  • Post construction services
  • Coordinating with clients and the broader team
  • Systems integration consultancy and specification development
  • Project Management responsibilities for projects; coordinating resourcing, technical management, and financial management with appropriate oversight from Project Directors

Is this role right for you?

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the consulting and technology design industries (related engineering disciplines such as Electrical/Systems/Computer Engineering considered).
  • Understanding and experience of technology in the built environment, including the challenges of construction and systems integration
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent planning and organization skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineer, licensed in Ontario or eligible for membership
  • Knowledge of P3/DBF/DBFM project methodology and delivery
  • RCDD - Registered Communications Distribution Designer
  • CTS (Certified Technology Specialist)

Toronto Hiring Range - Hiring Range - The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in Toronto is $100,000 to $130,000 per year. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note, hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of Toronto will differ.
