What is the opportunity?
As part of the Group Risk Management (GRM) team, the Senior Manager, BFS Data Innovation and Risk Analytics, is accountable for the further development, implementation, integrity, and evolution of GRM Credit Portfolio and Workflow data models.
GRM - Portfolio Risk Oversight (PRO) group provides independent and effective monitoring, oversight, and communication on the nature/extent of material risks for Business Financial Services (BFS) portfolio.
The Senior Manager will provide the data expertise to enhance our core data models and deepen our understanding of the GRM Commercial Business unit's operational efficiency and credit capabilities.
The employee is expected to proactively seek out and identify potential gaps in reporting, new sources of data, anticipate change and formulate, recommend, and implement oversight solutions.
The employee is also responsible for ad hoc analytics, management of the PRO's data ecosystem, and the development and maintenance of a suite of risk reporting and dashboards.
The PRO team prides itself for best-in-class data & analytics stack, innovative approach in risk management, high quality work with significant impact across risk and business, and continuous interaction with other groups, and senior management. Our vision is to leverage our data infrastructure and innovative data capabilities to drive forward-looking risk insight.
We are looking for a bright committed and high-performing individual to drive PRO's data initiative. The incumbent is expected to have strong analytical/quantitative, financial and business acumen, and communication skills.
