What is the opportunity?

The Senior Manager, Employee Enablement will be responsible for the execution of strategic communications, Employee Change Management strategy, and designing, building and delivering on the People Enablement plan, working in close collaboration with the BCS Senior Leadership team and key stakeholders across HR and the Enterprise. The role will also oversee day-to-day management of the Business & Initiatives Analyst as well as the Associate, Employee Enablement.

What will you do?

Primary responsibilities will be to manage the day-to-day execution and oversight of BCS's communication activities, employee enablement strategy, BCS Transformation Change Management strategy, as well as the day-to-day oversight of the Business & Initiatives Analyst and Employee Enablement Associate.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide oversight, direction, and execute on the BCS Employee Enablement strategy
    • Support Program Design, Development and Execution of BCS Employee Experience Program
    • Work to develop new ideas and strategy to grow the BCS Engagement Program
  • Develop, maintain and execute on BCS's communication plan and act as the central point of contact for all communication needs for BCS
    • Leverage appropriate communication vehicles to inform and engage employees including email, bulletins/newsletters, employee profiles, success stories, and others as appropriate
    • Maintain and continue to build out the BCS Connect site and demonstrate ability to increase engagement through regular posting
    • Plan, organize, and develop materials for employee town halls, open houses, roundtables, panels, innovation challenges and other events
  • Provide day-to-day oversight and management of the Business and Initiatives Analyst and Employee Enablement Associate
    • Responsible for overseeing activities and providing direction and support for both roles
  • Provide oversight, direction, and execute on the BCS Employee Change Management strategy
    • Development and execution of leadership alignment exercises/communications as required
    • Identify and prioritize downstream change impacts, determining appropriate mitigation plans and escalating risks as required
    • Support the development of comprehensive operational readiness plans, including defining success metrics, and overseeing the execution of the plans
    • Develop strategy and associated program build-out of the BCS Future of Work Strategy
    • Facilitate various forms of working sessions / dialogs with diverse stakeholder groups
    • Develop and implement key initiatives to support workforce transformation, including the availability of programs for developing existing staff and actions to attract and develop early talent in partnership with learning and development
  • Ongoing BCS Initiatives Support
    • Responsible for planning agendas, setting direction for, and executing on BCS Town Halls, SLT Global Forums, Offsites, Transformation Events, Employee events, etc.
    • Responsible for leading the CEE team in planning BCS related employee recognition events
    • Oversees and runs the BCS Global Performance Program in partnership with BCS OC Delegates for all regions, setting direction and planning related meetings including the end of year Performance Gala
    • Yearly EES Action Planning and managing associated action items
    • Responsible for facilitating/organizing Global BCS Year End Promotions Process
    • Responsible for creation and execution of events with Senior Leadership and Staff

What you need to succeed?

  • University Degree, RBC related Change Management Courses
  • 4 - 7 years of relevant prior experience.
  • Relevant communications experience and ability to utilize traditional and evolving internal communication vehicles for optimal impact
  • Strong knowledge of content management systems and email tools
  • Strong relationship management and project management capabilities
  • Ability to meet consistently high standards of quality while handling a variety of projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong writing and editing skills with commitment to excellence
  • Highly skilled with PowerPoint, MS Word and Outlook
