What is the opportunity?

This role is responsible for driving and operationalizing the strategic direction for the FX and FCA portfolio, understand client needs, channel preferences, optimize spreads, fees, and profitability, and improve competitive position in the FX and FCA businesses. In addition, the incumbent will work together with our key partners in BFS, Capital Markets, Marketing, Business Risk, Fraud, Operations, Enablement, Digital and T&O to ensure end-to-end management of each of the key products. The individual will monitor and manage P&L performance, pricing grid and operational resiliency.

What will you do?

  • Support all activities with respect to general management of the FX and FCA components across our key payments products, including business performance, scorecard reporting and P&L management.

  • Responsible for driving and executing the end-to-end strategy for the FX and FCA portfolios through enhanced revenues, reduced costs, and increased volumes:

    • Strategy includes consideration of customer, value proposition, channel, competition, macroeconomic factors, product & innovation, marketing, pricing & fees, and profitability.

    • Work with Partners (BFS, Capital Markets, Business Risk, Operations, IT etc.) through impact and influence on design, develop and implement appropriate strategies, processes, policies, and reporting which support the execution of the product strategy.

  • Develop financial business cases and analysis for any spreads and other business model changes.

  • Manage strategies and plans through to execution to ensure key tactics are delivered and adjusted to meet changing market conditions.

  • Provide key input for product performance/delivery issues, system/product changes and upgrades.

  • Manage Business risk, remediations, reputational risk and legislation compliance working with Legal, Compliance, Privacy and Risk partners.

  • Responsible for relationship management with external and internal partners.

  • Maintain awareness on economic trends, daily FX forecasts, payments news releases and external competitor trends on a frequent basis to manage product impact.

Must have:

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, with a strong ability to translate vision into execution

  • Product management knowledge and experience

  • Knowledge of the payments industry

  • Proven financial, modeling and analytical skills.

  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Advanced knowledge of formal project and/or program management methodology

  • Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational, analytical and time management skills

  • Understands business risks and exhibits sound judgment and decision-making capabilities
