Purpose

The Senior Manager, GTCE Oversight & Insights supports the Director, Global Testing Centre of Excellence in overseeing the Global Compliance Testing program and ensuring its alignment with the Global Compliance Risk Management framework. This role contributes to the overall success of Enterprise Compliance by ensuring that individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed and delivered in support of business strategies and objectives.

Key Accountabilities

  • Creates Insights and analysis on Testing performed worldwide and by all Business Lines and Corporate Functions identifying key trends, and the identification of Lessons Learned across our footprint.

  • Drives process efficiency, coordinating closely with the DNAT team, PowerBi Dashboards, CCO Metrics and Governance, as well as Conducts comprehensive training sessions for testers to ensure effective utilization of these dashboards and Insights.

  • Responds to add hoc requests for consultants, third party, ABAC and Conduct groups, GRM, IT Finance and other Corporate Functions on current state for Compliance Testing. Supports the identification of opportunities and reporting of other assurance functions testing teams across the LODs.

  • Executes the AML/Compliance CCO Metrics proc & insights processes on a quarterly basis, ensuring data completeness, quality, and accuracy. Maintains thorough documentation of the process and coordinates any changes or additions to the metrics.

  • Provides essential information to support Compliance/AML testing teams and GTCE teams in their engagement, quality control, and governance activities. Consolidates test plans to offer a comprehensive view of Compliance testing obligations.

  • Analyzes and reports on global patterns, themes, and trending issues to the Testing Council, the CCO, and the Board. Prepares commentary reports to support the development and oversight of KRI and KPI Compliance/AML metrics for the CCO's opinion.

  • Offers ongoing advice, guidance, and effective challenge on the comprehensiveness of the Business Line/Corporate Functions Compliance annual test plan.

  • Coordinates the implementation of new functionalities, solutions, and reports in OpenPages.

  • Supports QC activities by ensuring a Power BI platform to maintain and calculate historical review results in a Power BI solution.

  • Coordinates with Data Governance to keep Critical Data Elements (CDE) updated and ensures data quality in OpenPages.

  • Participates in the COPILOT project by meeting with champions to test prompts that address pain points in the AML/Compliance testing process.

  • Set up Governance indicators for AML Testing worldwide including its aggregation and usage.

  • Understands and incorporates the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture into day-to-day activities and decisions. Ensures the adequacy, adherence to, and effectiveness of business controls to meet obligations related to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk, and conduct risk.

  • Champions a high-performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates the team by fostering an inclusive work environment. Communicates vision, values, and business strategy, and manages succession and development planning for the team.

  • Promotes a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Administration, Economics, Finance or Industrial Engineering

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant compliance or risk management experience in a large, international bank and/or an established securities regulatory agency. 10 years recommended.

  • Working for a large enterprise with multi country presence.

  • Strong strategic, analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

  • Team player and ability to work in a complex global matrix organization.
