What is the opportunity?

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Manager to lead our ServiceNow development team within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) domain. This role is ideal for a seasoned ServiceNow professional with a strong background in designing and architecting ServiceNow applications, coupled with leadership qualities to guide a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, with a keen ability to anticipate challenges and drive innovative solutions.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead the design, architecture, and development of ServiceNow applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and security within the IAM framework.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement ServiceNow workflows that align with business needs.

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of ServiceNow developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

  • Ensure adherence to best practices in ServiceNow development, including coding standards, and documentation.

  • Proactively identify potential issues and areas for improvement within the ServiceNow platform, driving the implementation of solutions.

  • Stay current with ServiceNow updates and new features, assessing their applicability to enhance our IAM processes.

  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and team resources to ensure successful project completion.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience

  • 5+ years of strong technical developer experience in Java, or JavaScript

  • 4-5 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, with a strong track record of designing and architecting complex ServiceNow applications.

  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage, mentor, and develop a team of ServiceNow professionals.

  • A proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges, propose solutions, and drive projects forward. Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and effectively

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with AngularJS and Service Portal development in ServiceNow.

  • Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts and best practices.
