Job Summary

Job Description

Manage RBC's Duty of Care and Duty of Warn for all employees globally.
• Responsible for the intake, triage, and management of security incidents across the organization.
• To provide subject matter expert advice, and security and life safety guidance to management at all levels.
• Support the design, implementation and management of a full range of security policies, programs and resources across the globe with a focus toward continuous improvement and innovation to deliver a "Best in Class" global security program.
• Provide SME oversight of contracted security resources in order to provide the most cost effective and world class program.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must Have

  • Incident management of key programs (Robbery, Active Shooter, Kidnap, Hostage & Extortion, Workplace Violence, Aggressive & Abusive individuals) as directed across the organization.
  • Responsible for the management of all Duty of Care/ Duty to Warn incidents globally and implement risk mitigation components
  • Development & Delivery of Employee Security Training programs globally
  • Responsible for identifying, implementing and maintaining security practices, policies and training.
  • Provide input and regional components into appropriate standards for crisis preparedness related to employee security incidents
  • Identify gaps and provide recommendations to senior management teams on matters related to security and crisis response.
  • Develop and distribute security related communications, promotes security awareness, designs and maintains communication channels to facilitate the distribution of time sensitive security information.
  • Supports relationships with outside providers who support safety and emergency response.
  • Supporting both internal and third party security professionals to provide consistent, high quality and cost effective security support.
