As an Asset Management - Business Solutions' Senior Product Owner, you will report into the Director, Product Owner and will assume end-to-end ownership for various product offerings by leading cross-functional teams to conceptualize, define and implement new features. Leveraging your ability to organize and motivate teams, you will work with product lines, stakeholders, software developers to translate customer journey directives into actionable backlog deliverables, and follow through to completion.

Is this role right for you?

  • You will assist in the development of vision and roadmap for owning areas and create/maintain a detailed prioritized product backlog
  • You will establish a close relationship with the business to ensure their requirements are translated into the right digital technology products
  • You will gather and analyse customer feedback and use it to further improve the product
  • You will engage day-to-day with the scrum teams writing and clarifying user stories, participating in sprint planning and reviews, backlog grooming, and prioritization
  • You will apply incremental delivery principles, drive the delivery of business value, communicate progress, elicit feedback and enable stakeholder reviews for validation in the process
  • You will review QA test plans to align with acceptance criteria, facilitate testing and review of early builds for adherence to functional requirements
  • You will facilitate problem-solving as required, working closely with design, development and delivery teams on implementation challenges
  • You will engage with analytics teams to establish, measure and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for new features
  • You will manage engagement with stakeholders and effectively communicate product release contents and expected product capabilities/customer journeys

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed?

  • Under-graduate degree in business, or related discipline
  • Comprehensive knowledge of asset management and thorough familiarity with sales processes and services
  • In-depth knowledge and experience working with S&P EDM or other data management platforms is an asset
  • Demonstrated ability in a similar role where you've managed a technology product from end to end, all the way through to delivery
  • You have in-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
  • You are a strong problem solver with the ability to lead the team to push the solution
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results while working in cross-functional environment
  • You have excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • You have a curious and experimental mindset to drive innovation amidst uncertainty
  • Your verbal and written communication skills are exceptional, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at different levels in the organizations
