What You Will Do

You will be responsible for co-ordinating, planning, administering and supervising the activities associated with operations performance metrics and information management control systems within the Department. You will be designing, developing and modifying programs to facilitate accessibility of information and to ensure maximum utilization of data. In addition, you will be responsible for providing statistical analyses, summaries, KPI’s, charts, graphs, etc. as well as guidance to other employees regarding computerized systems and applications within the Department.

As a TTC employee you are responsible for treating passengers and/or employees with respect and dignity and ensuring the needs of passengers or employees with disabilities are accommodated and/or addressed (if applicable and within their area of responsibility) in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code and Related Orders so that they can fully benefit from the TTC as a service provider and an employer and you will also be participating in the TTC Customer Service Ambassador Program.

What Qualifications Do You Bring?

  • Your application will demonstrate 5 + years in business consulting, financial reporting and/or development of customized reporting systems.
  • Your application will also demonstrate knowledge of information management control systems, statistical analysis procedures, programming principles and methods.
  • Your educational background in University degree in Accounting, Math, Statistics, Engineering, Finance, Management Information Systems, or a Business related field is integral and will contribute to the success in this role.
  • Experience in business and enterprise architecture, IT strategy, and supervision of staff in the management of operations teams, is preferred and would be an asset.
  • You have sound knowledge of computer applications, combined with thorough familiarity with procedures associated with computerized applications.
  • You have a good mathematical background, and excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • You have effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • You have knowledge of business strategy/ operations, business architecture, IT strategy and enterprise architecture.
  • You have experience creating materials and presenting to business and executive audiences, and translating IT solutions and terminology into business friendly terms.
  • You have experience in collaborating with others in the development of a strategy, with a history of success in influencing without authority.
  • Your application demonstrates a strong technology background in successfully leading and developing large scale application or technology solutions.
  • You have knowledge of project planning and management, including scope, time and resource management.
