This is a Hybrid role based out of Toronto that reports directly to the Director & STO. This individual will set the priorities and deliver technology solutions that further the business goals of BMO Retail Investments.
Manage a team of engaged staff to build and maintain a number of major applications. Manage and oversee all aspects of the software delivery life-cycle. Help foster the team culture that connects BMO's purpose with technology deliverables.

Qualifications:
Typically 10-15 years of work experience as a Technology Leader with BS/BA or MBA/MS in computer science, engineering, information systems, math or business
Knowledge of software development practices, concepts, and technology obtained through formal training and/or work experience.
Experience delivering and supporting financial sector technology solutions
Experience with AWS Cloud, Distributed as well as Mainframe systems.
People Management experience of teams (10-20)
Experience with technology delivery
Knowledge of technical/business environment and processes.
Understand functional aspects and technical behavior of the underlying operating system, development environment, and deployment practices.
Have facility with and understanding of the ecosystem that code operates in.
Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience and industry knowledge.
Experience managing a Portfolio

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group's expected target for the first year in this position.
