Job Description:

** 18 Weeks Contract **

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Service Delivery Coordinator to join our team. This new role is critical in supporting the Service Delivery team to deliver timely and efficient solutions within a standard service level agreement (SLA). The Service Delivery Coordinator will streamline processes, improve service levels, and free up our Workday talent to focus on technical configuration, testing, and delivery. By handling administrative activities and supporting work management optimization, this role will enable the team to enhance its capabilities while driving key initiatives forward.

What will you do?

  • Respond to Service Delivery inquiries via email and MS Teams chat

  • Translate email inquiries to Jira Tickets within Jira Cloud

  • Provide service support information and guidance for navigating process, prioritization, and timelines in accordance with service delivery process and controls

  • Document correspondence within Jira Tickets and move tickets through the workflow in accordance with our Kanban workflow diagram

  • Obtain the necessary approvals required, following the security management process, for application access requests, moving work to ready to start once all approvals are obtained

  • Provide status updates to requestors as appropriate in support of our systems analysts

  • Update process and control documentation in support of the Service Delivery Manager

  • Data entry of Jira Tickets, supporting the manual migration of tickets from Jira On Prem to Jira Cloud

  • Perform additional responsibilities are required to support the team's objectives

What do you need to succeed?

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Outlook, Teams, and Excel

  • Experience with Jira (Cloud and On-Prem), Confluence, and SharePoint is an asset

  • Familiarity with Workday, HR systems, and service delivery processes is an asset

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance.
