We are seeking an energetic, self-starter willing to take on a challenge! This position will deliver against current and new initiatives to support our Corporate Security global mandate by ensuring that specific goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives through technology solutions. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
The incumbent is responsible, through independent contribution, collaboration with the Corporate Security Business team and the management/supervision of Senior Manager, on the design, development, integration, and implementation of Enhanced Employee Monitoring initiative across the Enterprise level. The individual must thrive on challenge, be proactive and dynamic, and demonstrate initiative and eagerness to learn.

Some of the key accountabilities include:
• Provide day to day support for Splunk environment and full system life cycle. Working experience in creating dashboards, SPL scripts, building Splunk regex expressions for data ingestion, production issues investigations and resolutions. This includes L2 production support investigations and resolutions.
• Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications.
• Act as a technical resource expert for modeling, simulation, and analysis efforts.
• Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution.
• Assure quality security and compliance requirements are met for supported area.
• Act as the Splunk subject matter experts in providing technical leadership in the design, development and support of the Bank's enterprise insider threat program, major digital fraud and financial crimes investigations mandate, and other intelligence big data analytics industry initiatives.
• Experience with/or ability to explore a variety of machine learning, statistical analytics, and data mining techniques with the objective of improving Corporate Security's investigative capabilities using Technology to support the Bank's employee monitoring and digital fraud investigation needs.
• Maintain the Banks' enterprise insider threat intelligence program, and Corporate Security's digital fraud investigation mechanisms by updating or creating new Splunk
data models, rules, alerts, and/or dashboards to provide relative real time actionable intelligence.
• Builds and maintains solid, professional working relationships with peers within the project management, development, and business lines.

What You Will Bring to Succeed
• Must Have
o Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
o Training and/or certifications in Splunk Enterprise for at least version 8.x, 9.x.
o Proof of certifications in Splunk core certified advance power user and or Splunk core certified power user
o Working knowledge in Splunk (installing, configuring, troubleshooting after different Splunk components, setting up the encryption and building clusters) - 3+ years of hands-on experience.
o
Expert knowledge working with ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory to efficiently ingest and transform data from multiple sources into Azure SQL Database -5+ years
o Solid understanding of SQL script for querying relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, DB2, MySQL) and XML code.
o Proficiency in Python version 2 and 3, SPL language, Xml, html, CSS Code, Excel.
o Proficiency in Linux - 5+ years of hands-on experience
o Proficiency in Java (coding and application) - 5+ years of hands-on experience
o Proficiency in Cloud - GCP or Azure (proof of concept) - 3+ years of hands-on experience
o Understanding and experience in Agile development methodologies
o Strong verbal, written, presentation & communication skills.
o Creative, out-of-the-box thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
o Knowledge of project management, and software development process would be an asset.
o Experienced with working in both a technical and business context and able to translate technical concepts into easy-to-understand business language.
o Experience with 3rd party vendor products and various systems integration concepts/usage a such as Rest APIs, batch jobs or data extractions is an asset.
o Must be self-motivated, energetic, and results-oriented and be committed to adding value to the organization.
o Highly flexible and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
o Knowledge of industry trends regarding fraud and experience in fraud detection and prevention is an asset.
• Nice to have
o FI/Banking experience (North American Bank)
o Previous experience in Corporate Security, Insider Threat Fraud
