WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

As a Staff Engineer / Lead Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering our next generation software delivery platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and DevOps practices. This role is critical in ensuring high-quality software delivery, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and helping drive the adoption of advanced DevOps methodologies.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions
  • Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on architectural decisions and technical strategies aligned with long-term platform goals.
  • Develop architecture, design, and develop robust, maintainable, and scalable RESTful API solutions using the latest technologies and best practices.
  • Implement secure, reliable, and scalable APIs to deliver an exceptional client experience.
  • Integrate and exploit the latest capabilities of generative AI in a developer platform.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends and evaluate their applicability to our platform.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have:

  • Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in software development.
  • Experience in developing and supporting highly scalable and high performance APIs
  • Proven track record of working across cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (OpenShift, AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.

Nice-to-have:

  • Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Java (Spring Boot), Python, Javascript.
  • Experience in a matrix environment, such as a large, publicly-traded corporation
  • Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions
