A great opportunity within the Information Technology Services Department.
You will provide the expertise and technical direction necessary to define, maintain, enhance or replace the information systems and technology. The position evaluates the technical and economic feasibility of proposed systems or requests for revisions to existing systems. The work involves planning, leading, documenting and participating, as needed, in the requirement definition, design, development, test, implementation and post-implementation activities associated with information technology projects.
You will provide the expertise and technical direction necessary to define, maintain, enhance or replace information systems and technology; review business requirements, create processes and procedures; ensure the development and implementation of effective and efficient computer systems by preparing detailed specifications for computer programs and formulate statements of business and system requirements, performing detailed analyses, preparing and reviewing detailed systems documentation and functional specifications.
You will design and/or develop sub-systems that are part of a larger more complex system; create logical database designs and work with Database Analysts to ensure proper physical implementation; provide front-line technical support in resolving day-to-day system issues, participate in system upgrades/updates and new system development; provide training to related parties in relevant area(s) of expertise.
