What is the opportunity?
Act as business analyst (BA) and subject matter expert (SME) on tax initiative based projects covering Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), US IRC Ch. 3/61, CDOT, OECD Common Reporting Standards (CRS), US IRC Section 871(m), Qualified Intermediary/Qualified Derivatives Dealer (QI/QDD), US IRC Section 305(c) and 302
The CM Tax Operations team has been initially formed to support FATCA but has assumed an expanded mandate covering a wide array of tax regulation; the BA will be expected to perform analysis against (i) the above mentioned tax regulation and (ii) the needs of the CM Tax Operations team; subsequently, the BA will be expected to document business requirements and outline current and future state process flows such that the CM Tax Operations team has the necessary processes, system functionality, controls and protocols in place to support compliance across all relevant tax regulations
The BA will be dedicated to the enhancement and development of the CM Tax Operations team and will work closely with the Product Manager and Head of the CM Tax Operations team as well as collaborate with the CM Taxation, Global Client Data Services and other partners across Business Client Services
