What is the Opportunity?

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to oversee initiatives focused on maintaining and enhancing our technical currency in Finance & Audit technology. The successful candidate will oversee projects related to modernizing our core banking systems, adopting emerging technologies and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

What will you do?

  • Develop and execute project plans, resource allocation and timelines to ensure successful delivery
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, product owners and technical teams to ensure project delivery success
  • Collaborate with project managers and technical leads to ensure timely delivery and budget adherence
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and maintain a technical currency roadmap, assess technical currency gaps, and align with Enterprise prioritization based on End-of-life and End-of-support dates
  • Develop and maintain project governance frameworks standards and procedures per Enterprise policies
  • Oversee and track technical currency budget (~$8MM), resource capacity and cost allocation to development, support and IT Operations teams
  • Monitor and report on technical currency delivery metrics
  • Create Tableau dashboards, excel reports and Powerpoint presentations to monitor and report the application level status

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • 5 years of experience in project management with a focus on technical currency, IT or banking technology
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery and PMO leadership
  • Hands-on experience with Tableau dashboards and other reporting tools
  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with project portfolio management, resource allocation and budget management

Nice-to-have:

  • Project management certification (PMP)
  • Understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
  • Understanding of banking technology, including core banking systems, emerging technologies and industry standards
  • Knowledge of banking regulations and industry standards
