The Treasury Intern supports the day-to-day operations of the Treasury team which includes the company's short-term borrowing program, short term investments, cash management and forecasting. In addition, the student intern will be a key point of contact for other members of finance and certain subsidiary operations and assist with the monthly and quarterly reporting requirements of the team.
Key Accountabilities:
Work with members of the Treasury team in managing investment settlements for the company and its subsidiaries
Maintain and ensure compliance with relevant treasury policies
Execute and process treasury related wires and account transfers
Maintain investment record in the Treasury management system (Kyriba)
Assist in the preparation of Treasury related reporting
Respond to ad-hoc analysis and queries from management and supporting the overall finance team
Must haves:
Currently working towards an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or business related field. Good understanding of basic accounting practices
Proficient with MS Office applications
Quick to learn and apply new concepts
Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work in teams as well as independently
Detail-oriented and strong analytical skills
Flexible and comfortable with evolving priorities
Nice to haves:
Proficient in Google Suite
Note:
Hybrid role: 2 -3 days per week in the downtown Toronto office
4 month Co-op / Internship: May 5, 2025 - August 22, 2025
