Job Description:

** 12 Month Contract Opportunity **

Ready to help build the future Workplace Strategy as it pertains to Corporate Real Estate? We're not just talking about how COVID has impacted Corporate Real Estate strategies and programs, we are looking even further into the future to build the best and most relevant workplace experiences for our employees on a global basis!

Reporting to the Strategy Program Manager in Sun Life's CRE team, the Analyst is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of key metrics for Workplace Strategy programs in alignment with Sun Life's business plans and goals. The position will focus on identifying the Measures of Success, developing baselines, metrics, scope, time, budget, benefits, and delivery plans, as well as materials for socialization and approval. Working with support from other CRE streams and finance partners, the Senior Analyst will assist in the creation and management of reporting and forecasting for strategies.

What will you do?

  • Provide direct support to the Strategy Program Manager in the development and delivery of long and short-term strategies for office locations at Sun Life

  • Use a variety of data to identify and analyze the Measures of Success and key insights that will support the creation and execution of strategy plans

  • Create and track program deliverables that meet/exceed the program sponsors' specified expectations

  • Engage program stakeholders and communicate program updates to ensure buy in and program success (examples: meetings, status updates)

  • Develop detailed work plans, project schedules, estimates, resource plans and reporting

  • Support in the development of analytical tools (space utilization, trend analysis etc.)

  • Work closely with Workplace Strategy & Design counterparts in the evolution of workplace programs

What you need to succeed?

  • 3-5 years related experience in Corporate Real Estate Strategy, Analytics, Project Management, or general business strategy

  • Solid business and Corporate Real Estate / Facilities (or similar) acumen

  • Motivated individual capable of owning and driving assignments

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to tailor message for leadership audience

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong problem solving, analytic and decision-making skills

  • Thorough experience using PowerPoint, Excel, and Tableau

Nice to have:

  • PMP certification or equivalent

  • Design or Architecture Background

  • LEED

  • Change Management Experience

  • Lean Process Improvement

  • University degree or equivalent

  • Familiarity with insurance and finance industry

  • CAFM experience

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance.
