• Lead a governance, sales support and market analysis team in support of Bombardier Defense growth.
• Provide a governance infrastructure, with deliverables, capable of supporting Senior Leadership needs at all levels within the organization.
• Lead periodic updates of the market forecast, business intelligence and competitor studies and provide findings back to the organization with recommendations.
• Oversee the creation and yearly update of the 5-year strategic plan including the cross-functional coordination.
• Maintain an accurate Defense skyline that feeds the strategic plan.
• Create single repository for BA defense material, market analysis and competitive information including a proper library system with indexing capability to sort and retrieve Information Packs
• Support government relations visits or requests for presentation material for Bombardier Defense
• Develop a set of balanced customer-focused and business-focused performance indices and lead the team in achieving these targets.
• You have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in aerospace;
• You have experience in a business development, strategy and market analysis environment with an expertise in business growth, expansion and diversification.
• You have solid knowledge of industry trends and competitor activity;
• You are a leader with initiative, able to mobilize and engage both your direct team and supporting teams;
• You have excellent communication skills and the ability synthesize information for executive level briefings and recommendations;
• You are able to develop and guide individuals in the production of comprehensive and compelling materials directed at engineering, operations and executive audiences;
• You are able to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively while working toward aggressive deadlines;
• Working knowledge of Bombardier's policies and processes is an asset;
• You have working knowledge of and are eligible to view and handle Canadian Controlled Goods Regulations (CGR), (International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR);
• Prior experience in Government and/or military flight operations exposure would be considered an asset;
• You may be required to travel domestically and internationally and work extended hours when required.
