The Director, System Integration and Test, will have multiple responsibilities of interacting with external vendors who contribute HW/SW to the LightSpeed constellation system, internal development teams and will have managers from the System Integration and test team reporting to this role.
Main Responsibilities
Develop strategic and long-term goals for the System Integration team.
Collaborate with various segments leads in Lightspeed eco system and be the driver of quality through the organization
Contribute/Drive CI/CD/CT test strategies.
Review test plans/test reports and establish dashboards for reporting to executive/leadership teams
Work in a dynamic fast paced environment and be adaptable to various needs of the project.
Responsible for System Integration and System Test of Lightspeed echo system
Demonstrate strong leadership skills with a can-do attitude and maintain collaborative approach doing the same.
Education and Experience
Bachelors or master's in computer science, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering.
At least 10-15 years of proven experience in leading large teams and delivering complex projects
Strong leadership and project management skills
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Primary Qualifications
10+ years experience in Telecom/Satcom with at least 6+ years in leadership role
10+ years of strong networking, routing protocols
Strong experience with various Network Management Systems
Hands on experience with various phases of Software Development Life Cycle
Deep knowledge of various cloud data architectures (Azure), Kubernetes and containerized data services
Strong experience of various data lake technologies
Strong ability to influence and participate with various technical decisions across different levels of organization
Proven ability to build automation teams
Experience with tools like Jama/Jira and generating various dashboards for leadership team
Preferred Qualifications
Strong RF skills with exposure to modulation and coding used in modern standards like DVB-S2(X) and DVB-RCS2.
