Fire Alarm System Installer

Tasks

• Install fire alarm systems in residential, commercial, or industrial buildings.
• Carry out the electrical wiring needed to power and connect system components.
• Conduct regular and planned inspections for the preventive maintenance of installed systems, ensuring compliance with current safety standards.
• Have a solid understanding of building codes, legal requirements, and industry best practices to ensure all installations are compliant.
• Perform any other tasks related to the position.

Job requirements

• High school diploma.
• Experience in fire alarm systems.
• CCQ certification 220 or 222.
• Journeyman competency.
• Comfortable in both written and spoken French and English.
• Valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of Mircom systems is an asset.
