Your future role on our team

By joining our team, you'll be asked to help with the various stages of project execution, including proposals, site surveys, the design and drafting of technical reports and final delivery to the site. You'll benefit from BBA's network of recognized experts to support you in completing your mandates and in your professional development.

You'll also be responsible for ensuring quality professional services and maintaining strong client relationships.

More specifically, you'll be required to:

  • Carry out engineering projects involving power systems (power distribution, grid connection).
  • Carry out engineering projects involving specialized studies (power quality, grounding, electromagnetic interference, NERC compliance, transient).
  • Carry out field surveys and measurement campaigns on electrical installations.
  • Perform system modelling using specialized software.
  • Draft high-quality technical reports to support our clients.
  • Apply established work methods and improve them.

Overview of certifications and job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
  • Knowledge of system simulation software: CYME, EMPT, PSS/E
  • Available for short-term and long-term assignments with our clients in Québec and the rest of Canada
  • Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written
  • ASP Construction card for health and general safety on construction sites (BBA can assist you in obtaining it, where necessary)
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Asset: a diploma from the Institut en génie de l'énergie électrique (IGEE)
