The location in Montreal, (Quebec, Canada), is seeking talent to fill the position of Accountant, Corporate Accounting. This job is full-time permanent.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting, your role will consist in registering financial accounting transactions.

Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Prepare accounting entries;
  • Perform month-end closing including balancing intercompany transactions;
  • Perform analysis of various balance sheet accounts;
  • Prepare bank reconciliations related to payroll and accounts payables;
  • Participate in meetings with other departments to discuss and follow up on issues identified through reconciliation and analysis;
  • Participate in the quarterly forecast and annual budget preparation;
  • Participate in year-end forms preparation for Tax and Financial Reporting.

Professional Experience/Qualifications:

  • University degree in Accounting, or are in the process of obtaining it;
  • A professional designation is an asset;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office;
  • Knowledge of GAAP and SAP (FI/CO) is considered an asset;
  • Bilingual, English and French, both spoken and written*
