The Actuarial Senior Analyst
will be accountable to help assess new business opportunities and monitor/review performance of existing blocks. We have an ever-growing number of partners that we work closely with to deliver our products. You will liaise with external and internal stakeholders to ensure that pricing strategies align with business objectives.

\n What you will do\n

    \n
  • \nAnalyze data to create or refine GGY AXIS pricing models for a variety of Life and Health insurance products;
  • \n
  • \nPrice new products in line with internal guidelines;
  • \n
  • \nWork with internal and external partners to support product development from ideation to launch;
  • \n
  • \nPerform ongoing management of existing products, including inforce pricing reviews;
  • \n
  • \nCreate tools such as dashboards to monitor performance;
  • \n
  • \nSupport financial underwriting for new and existing partnerships;
  • \n
  • \nWork with Underwriting to ensure that pricing strategy aligns with the risk profile;
  • \n
  • \nCreate and maintain accurate process documentation.

\n What you will bring\n

\nThe education. University degree in a quantitative field. Close to an ASA/ACIA.

The experience. 2+ years of actuarial experience.

The knowledge. GGY AXIS required. Health & Dental insurance is also required. And knowledge of IFRS 17 is considered as an asset.

The skills. Strong communication and organizational skills.

The drive. Self-starter, problem solver, takes initiative. Adaptable to change and creates processes with minimal guidance.
