The location in Montreal, (Quebec, Canada), is seeking talent to fill the position of Analyst, Sales Accounting. This job is full-time permanent.

Your challenges:

  • Month-end preparation (journal entries, validation)
  • Conduct quarterly revenue recognition analysis
  • Reconcile accounts monthly
  • Verification of Interfaces to ensure completeness of financial statements
  • Communicate with relevant internal and external parties
  • Document evidence of key controls in support of audits and studies
  • All other related tasks and analyses

Your team:

Reporting to the Supervisor, Sales Accounting, you will be part of a dynamic team that brings together several expertise at the heart of the company and for whom autonomy, continuous improvement and the search for optimal solutions are the main values.

Your profile:

  • Baccalaureate in accounting
  • CPA designation an asset
  • Three to five years of experience in Accounting and/or Finance
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in large business
  • Knowledge of internal controls, particularly in a Sarbanes-Oxley enforcement context

Your skills:

  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in both official languages, due to internal and external interactions with clients from the outside of Quebec
  • Strong organizational, planning, rigor and accuracy skills
  • Ability to manage multiple files at once, work under pressure and meet deadlines while delivering quality results
  • Ability to work as a team member, communicate with other teams and adapt quickly to change
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel) and high interest in working with various computer systems (SAP and LSS)
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Demonstrates flexibility and autonomy
