What is the opportunity?
This is an experienced intermediate sales position driving client revenue growth & market share with a focus on Quebec based institutional clients.
What will you do?
Drive revenue growth to the franchise and gain market share by identifying growth opportunities that are aligned with the firm's strategic priorities.
Monitor, interpret relevant markets in order to offer value-based coverage that address the specific needs of our Quebec based institutional clients
Promote the use of derivatives and act in an advisory capacity for our client's various hedging needs
Streamline and maximize the impact of the Product client coverage team while working in a coordinated manner with the broader fixed income team
Drive cross selling across Global Markets asset classes, and with our Senior Relationship Management (SRM) team - to drive a deep partnership approach to clients
Stay current on all regulatory / structural market changes in order to respond to client's various requests
What do you need to succeed?
Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly serve our clients and do business with RBC partners and/or employees across Canada with English and French speaking needs.
Robust knowledge, passion and experience in Canadian fixed income and derivatives products
A consistent, high intensity approach, professional rigor, sales ownership, set and track key performance metrics
Be able to demonstrate ability to successfully cross sell multiple products
Experience working and collaborating in a dynamic and high performance environment
As an experiences Salesperson, understanding of the importance of leadership behaviors and ability to instill and demonstrate them - drive to impact, act urgently, adapt quickly, always learn, unlock the power of colleagues and partners.
