RBC Dominion Securities in Downtown Montréal is looking for a resourceful, efficient, and collaborative individual to join our leading wealth management firm as a Client Experience Associate. Working with a well-established advisory team, you will provide ongoing and exceptional service and support to clients and to the team, and you will help deepen existing relationships and welcome new clients to the firm. As an invaluable internal and external point of contact, you will play a key role in maintaining client accounts, ensuring documentation remains up to date and compliant, and coordinating various marketing initiatives.

What will you do?

  • Provide quality client service and help deepen relationships with existing clients through ongoing and efficient support to both clients and the advisory team.
  • Tap into your superior problem resolution skills to provide proactive client service. Working collaboratively, you will at times liaise with various departments to provide smooth and timely solutions.
  • Respond to client inquiries in an understanding and time-efficient manner (account transactions, requests, account documentation, account reporting, etc.).
  • Maintain existing client accounts and identify opportunities to contact clients. Responsible for managing timelines and key dates for accounts to help ensure clients feel supported by the team.
  • Leverage your passion for planning to coordinate and prepare meetings for advisors with their clients and prospects.
  • Effectively manage incoming communications from clients, advisors, and other internal and external partners.
  • Assist the advisory team in welcoming and onboarding new clients.
  • Become well-versed in internal controls and industry regulations, ensuring client files and documentation are accurate, up to date, and compliant.
  • Draw on your social media skills to update the communication channels of the advisory team, including websites, LinkedIn, Facebook, brochures, newsletters, etc.

What do you need to succeed?
Must-have

  • Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly serve our clients and do business with RBC partners and/or employees across Canada with English and French speaking needs
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the securities industry
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills
  • Demonstrated skills in providing world-class client service that will come across as professional, warm, and friendly to our clients

Nice-to-have

  • Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities' systems and procedures, an asset
