The Data Security and Protection Analyst is responsible for supporting the delivery of Accenture's offerings with a focus on data protection programs planning, policies and procedures development, strategy, data classification, data privacy, data encryption, data privacy / risk assessments, and implementation of programs and cloud-based data protection solutions.
Additional responsibilities may include:
· Working directly with clients and Accenture teams to design and implement program strategies for data protection and data privacy, data classification, digital rights management, data masking, encryption, cloud-based data protection solutions, and industry or regulatory compliance.
· Performing requirements analysis and developing strategies and solutions for information and data governance.
· Performing data protection and data privacy risk assessments and creating current state assessment, gap analyses, and strategic implementation roadmaps.
· Performing risk remediation cost-benefit-analysis for a variety of solutions. Working to understand client business objectives and create optimized information security organizations to meet business needs while reducing risk to revenue
· All candidates would be required to be in local offices 3 days per week
Basic Qualifications:
· 2+ years demonstrated work experience within data strategy, management and operational reporting and enabling technologies.
· Understanding of privacy/data privacy standards and regulations local, domestic and global (State Level Data Protection, ISO, GAPP, NIST 800-53, HIPAA, HiTrust, Privacy by Design, GDPR, EU Data Protection Directives, APEC Privacy Framework)
· Experience in implementation of data access rules, and implementation of services to tag data and interpret security access policies.
· Experience evaluating Data Security Features and Capabilities to match over all data governance needs and help define implementation road map
· Minimum bachelor's degree
· Bilingual English and French
English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with English-speaking stakeholders across Canada. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.
Preferred Skills:
· Experience of Data Encryption, Data Masking, DLP, DRM, Data Classification, or Cloud based Data Protection solutions.
· Exposure to multiple Data Protection solutions and technologies including - Data Encryption, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Data Masking / Tokenization, Digital Rights Management, Data Classification and Cloud based Data Protection Solutions
· In possession of, or able to qualify for, Canadian security clearance
