Financial Analyst

GardaWorld Cash is looking for a Financial Analyst for its head office located in Montreal.
Your responsibilities
- Participate in the process of closing accounting periods, including the posting of month-end entries and the preparation of monthly financial reports, while being directly involved in the analysis and interpretation of results.
- Perform recurring account reconciliations
- Help manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable
- Support the finance function in various continuous improvement projects and in the implementation of new business processes
- Support operations by performing various value-added analyses, and collaborate with various internal departments on accounting and finance-related topics
- Carry out any other related tasks linked to the responsibilities described above
Your profile
- University degree in accounting
- CPA designation an asset
- 1 to 2 years' relevant experience
- Excellent command of French and English (oral and written)
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Good analytical skills and ability to think critically about financial information
- Autonomous, methodical and rigorous with regard to the completeness and reliability of the financial information produced
- Proactive attitude towards information gathering and business process improvement
- Business acumen, good priority management and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
