About the role
As an HR Systems Specialist - Workday, you will play a key role in the evolution of the HCM, benefits, and compensation modules, as well as in the execution of several HR initiatives.
In this role, you will report to the Senior Mnager, HR Systems.
What you'll do here:
Act as an architect for the HCM, benefits, and compensation modules within a team of Workday experts
Establish and develop partnerships with stakeholders at all levels within the organization: HR, finance, IT, executive teams, etc.
Gather and understand business needs. Lead focus groups to understand business requirements and conduct clarification and prioritization sessions for enhancement requests.
Review and challenge current business processes and propose new technical solutions to improve them.
Propose a functional architecture for the HCM, benefits, and compensation modules, considering interrelationships with other modules.
Implement complex configuration changes and solutions to meet business and legislative requirements.
Lead and participate in the planning, drafting, and execution of test cases and test cycles.
Act as a mentor to other team members by providing feedback and sharing knowledge.
Lead larger projects and/or supervise and coordinate ongoing work.
Draft, review, and recommend changes to documentation (business processes, system documentation, and procedures).
Participate in change management exercises to ensure the adoption of the tool and business processes.
What you bring to the table:
Bachelor's degree in administration, IT management, or human resources management or a combination of work experience and education.
Minimum of 7 years of experience as an HR Systems Advisor or Senior Business Analyst for an HR system.
Recognized expertise with Workday HCM, benefits, and/or compensation modules.
Expertise in project management (an asset).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Bilingualism in French and English is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
