About the role

We are looking for bilingual Human Resources Business Partners to join our team made up of HR professionals who stand out for their collaborative spirit and commitment. We have different opportunities to supports various business units. As a Human Resources Business Partners, you will be a strategic leadership and human resources consultant to executives, senior leaders and their teams for one of Canada's largest and fastest growing financial services companies. What you'll do here:

  • Provide professional strategic coaching and human resources guidance and advice to our business partners, considering market best practices, strategic and organizational context while being aligned with the laws, regulations, and organizational values.

  • Actively participate in executive and management committees of your designated business partners and ensure all decisions and practices align with our business strategies and values.

  • Collaborate and work with business partners on different HR cycle such as employee engagement action plans, succession planning, talent management strategies and development of our top talent and experts.

  • Challenge the status quo by analyzing the facts, asking questions, adding new perspectives, and thinking strategically.

  • Participate in regional or national projects, play a key role in our ongoing transformation and deployment of corporate initiatives and programs.

  • Conduct investigations and assist managers in managing conflicts and other employee relations issues.

  • Lead, develop and facilitate training workshops, round tables and information sessions for managers and/or employees to meet business needs.

  • Contribute to the improvement of HR processes and collaborate with all members of the National HR Team, on various types of strategic HR projects.

What you bring to the table:

  • University degree in Industrial Relations or Human Resource Management

  • Minimum of 7 years of related experience as a HR Business Partner in similar and complex work environment (large corporate organisation)

  • CHRP designation is an asset

  • Solid knowledge in all areas of human resources including performance management and employee relations, change management, engagement, compensation, organizational development, succession planning and talent management.

  • A flexible, agile, and resilient approach to working in a dynamic ever-changing organizational environment, high tolerance for ambiguity with motivation to bring clarity and confidence

  • Proven track record of critical and strategic thinking to solve operational and / or complex problems

  • Exceptional influencing, communication, and relationship-building skills with all levels of management

  • Proven track record of raising leadership awareness, cultivating engagement, and creating alignment across teams and levels within the company

  • Strong planning and project management skills, rigor, analytical and synthesis skills

  • Bilingualism in French and English is required. You will need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country
