Job Description:

Let's start by letting you know which area we are hiring for which is Individual Insurance Operations. We directly support Advisors and Clients with Life and Health Insurance products. Our 'world' is focused on processing unique requests for Clients and Advisors in an accurate and timely manner as well as proactively managing our system controls.

Now that you know the "where'', let's talk more about what you will be doing here. As an Associate on our Controls and Unique Skill team, you will:

  • Develop knowledge of our products and our systems to understand the nuances to consider and what to look out for when processing requests and handling controls.
  • Use your attention to detail to and time management skills to deliver accurately and efficiently.
  • Leverage your problem-solving skills to identify opportunities to improve our processes or do something differently.
  • Use your experience of providing great service to delight our Advisors and Clients.

  • As this position is posted in several locations, we specify that bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada or worldwide.

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
