About the role

Marketing Advisor, Digital Strategy
Please note that this is a temporary 12-month position

As a Marketing Advisor, your mandate will be to coordinate and execute various marketing initiatives for our digital ecosystem, including websites, newsletters, and other related tactics. Working with different experts, you will implement strategies to drive growth and optimize the performance of our digital ecosystem. You must understand digital marketing strategies, analyze websites performances, and provide recommendations to ensure continuous growth.

Your Role
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, Strategy, you will have the following main responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to increase traffic and improve conversion rates.

  • Plan and execute various digital marketing initiatives, ensuring cohesion and collaboration among different experts (SEO, content, design, web development, etc.).

  • Optimize user experience, increase conversion rates, and improve website performance in collaboration with development teams.

  • Implement SEO best practices to improve the natural referencing of websites.

  • Collaborate with the content strategist to execute the content strategy aligned with the growth objectives.

  • Monitor the performance of all marketing tactics and websites using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics & Adobe Analytics) and propose improvements to optimize results.

  • Analyze user behavior and websites performance to identify improvement opportunities and propose innovative solutions.

  • Collaborate on the prioritization and implementation of new websites features based on user needs and business objectives.

  • Ensure proactive communication at all levels and mobilize relevant stakeholders.

  • Stay updated on trends and best practices in digital marketing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital marketing, web project management, or a similar role in an agency or company.

  • Excellent understanding of the different factors impacting the performance of a digital ecosystem (traffic and conversion).

  • Good understanding of using a CMS (Drupal, Typo3, and Craft are assets).

  • Ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong ability to work in a team and manage stakeholder relationships.

  • Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and planning skills.

  • Experience with project management tools (JIRA), analytics tools (Google Analytics & Adobe Analytics are assets), and marketing platforms (Google Ads).

  • No Canadian work experience required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.

  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
